If your baby is already born or you are booking late, please get in touch as I may have last minute availability.

Baby will have to be from 7 – 21 days, once they pass this time they are generally less sleepy, harder to pose, settle and things like colic and baby acne can start to flare up. Baby remains sleepy and curly at this age, allowing me to try all the poses that make them look so new and adorable.

While I photograph your newborn you get to relax and put your feet up. You don’t need anything but your teeny baby and anything needed to keep your baby’s belly full. During your 3 hour session I will spend a lot of time and care taking the type of photos right for your family. There will be a mix of baby in different positions. The 3 hour session includes access to all my beautiful props, wraps, backdrops and accessories. If you want to incorporate anything into the session, please do let me know! It can be anything you want, for example a family heirloom, favourite blanket, wedding rings, fireman hat (due to daddy or mummy’s job)

Your baby’s safety is my primary concern and I am completely trained with handling babies. Baby may have fussy moments, and that is just fine. You won’t be rushed through your session, and will have plenty of time to cuddle, change, feed and relax your little one. A newborn session can take a few hours to allow for all the moods and needs of your baby, and the room will be kept warmer than usual for baby’s comfort and safety. I always listen to baby’s needs and take breaks whenever is needed as the baby is boss in the session.

Siblings will be included in this session. It’s always nice to get the first photos of your new baby, but also you’ve just become a family. Siblings can often feel left out when a new baby comes along. By including them in the photos they will feel that they are still loved, just as much as ever. After the session, within 2 – 3 weeks you will receive your complete package of 10 high resolution fully edited pictures.

The final product of your photography session is the creation of beautiful portraits to display in your home and to enjoy for years to come.
